MC Cumin, Turmeric, and Paprika Eggplant Moussaka

MC Cumin, Turmeric, and Paprika Eggplant Moussaka

Ingredients

1 tbsp. olive oil

2 tsp garlic minced

2 tsp onions minced

1 ½ cup ground beef

2 tsp MC Cumin

1 tsp MC Turmeric Ground

1 tsp MC Spanish Paprika

¼ cup calamansi juice

MC Salt and MC Black Pepper Ground to taste

1 pack tomato sauce

150 – 250 grams thinly sliced eggplant (lengthwise)

Chopped parsley and cheese for garnish


Directions

1.In pan sautée olive oil w garlic n onions, add the ground beef. Sprinkle cumin, turmeric and Spanish paprika. Add the calamansi juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add one pack tomato sauce. Mix all ingredients together. Cook for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat.

2.Keep same pan .Then sautee thinly sliced eggplant. Cook for about 10 minutes. Turn off heat.

3.In Pyrex place a layer of thinly sliced eggplant, then 2nd  layer meat w sauce, then alternate. Top layer should be ground beef. Sprinkle more olive oil n chopped parsley. Add cheddar cheese (optional) Bake for 15 to 20 minutes max heat.
